The bezel setting with delicate milegrain adds such a lovely vintage flair to the ring. Currently a size 6. *OPEN TO OFFERS* Up for sale is my loose .81ct european cut diamond. This is a stone I have had for several years and it is not getting the attention it deserves. I recently had the stone spiffed up by Jack Reiss. They revamped the stone to improve the light return and symmetry of the stone. They did a fantastic job and still kept with the definite old feeling of the stone. There are a couple added bonuses to the stone since it has been perfected: the girdle is now polished and faceted, instead of just bruted; the culet lies in the middle of the stone instead of being off center, and the stone is overall more symmetrical. I have been in the jewelry industry for several years now- always having a particular interest in older stones. This one was sold to me as an H/I color and VS clarity. I would say that if the stone were graded by GIA it would come back as more like an I color and SI1 in clarity (there are two small carbon spots you can see with a loupe, but the stone is totally eye clean). The stone weighs in at .81ct and has an average diameter of 5.7mm. Please email me with any questions or if you would like more images! You can contact me here or at millerawilliams@hotmail.com I am open to offers on this stone.
