Selling this beautiful custom-cut stone by Gene Flanigan. Rhodolite garnet from Tanzania, 5.05ct, 9.89mm. No treatments. It is a touch on the darker side, but gives out the most brilliant and majestic flashes of red and purple. Very impressive stone. Per Gene's comments: "The color is a red with a touch of purple, and goes more red in incandescent, and more towards the purple red in daylight. The picture has direct reflected light, so in low light situations the stone will be darker. This is the case with any rhodolite garnet." Please ask as many questions, as this will be a final sale. Realized I am not into asscher cuts, being an antique lover I find step cuts a tad too modern for my taste. I bought this second hand off another PSer just a few months ago. Bought this from another well-known PSer. It is a 7.0mm 1.41ct tourmaline cut by Barry Bridgestock. Beautiful cut and fantastic faceting. Pinkish orange with golden flashes.
