Up for offer is a gently worn custom made sapphire ring by CvB, in the Sonora style, with a double halo. It includes hand chased botanical details on the halo and has an 18kt yellow gold body, with antiquing on the halo, and a 14kt white gold central bezel, with white rhodium plating. It is a size 7.25 and is fully sizable, but I would send it to CvB's bench if you are going up or down more than 1.5 sizes. The metal is a brushed finish, but could be polished to high polish if you prefer, by your jeweler or by CvB's bench.

The sapphire is a natural blue sapphire with violet tones. It measures 10.5 x 8.59 x 4.7 mm out of the bezel, with a .35mm girdle depth. The accent diamonds are 1.1 mm each, FG/VS clarity and weigh about .20 ctw.

I am selling this for less than it cost to make. The sapphire is a large, bright, colorful stone and BIG. It is not a perfect stone and has been heat treated, which is reflected in the price.

With current sapphire prices and metal prices, this ring is a bargain for the size and materials. It is also an excellently made ring, with typical CvB attention to all the fine details with lovely finishing.
